Overview

“Before starting my internship, my programming experience had been limited to basic Python syntax and front-end development. However, during my internship, I gained valuable experience by working on projects that required using Python, SQL, Django, and other tools. I learned to use Python libraries to create more complex programs, and I gained practical knowledge of designing schemas for relational databases. Additionally, I was introduced to coding best practices, such as test-driven development, documentation, and version control. Overall, this internship has allowed me to strengthen my programming skills and become a more well-rounded developer.”

Summary

“During my time as an intern in the EMRTS program, I was assigned numerous programming projects that helped me enhance my skills. Though I couldn’t complete all the projects, the ones I worked on gave me a great deal of knowledge and experience. I started with basic tasks such as
loading a CSV file into SQL, but eventually progressed to building the schema for a relationship database. I learned how to use APIs not only to extract data but also to decrypt it. Additionally, I learned how to write my programs more efficiently by utilizing the various libraries available in
Python and how to develop web apps through Django. Most importantly, I learned how to solve real-world problems using computer programming.
Throughout the internship, my mentors provided me with tremendous support and encouragement, helping me develop my programming skills and gain confidence in my abilities. By the end of the program, I feel well-equipped to tackle any technical challenge that may come my way. Overall, this internship was an invaluable experience that taught me the importance of perseverance, dedication, and collaboration in achieving success in the field of computer programming.”
